Among the countless
anniversaries to be marked this year, two are of special
note – a 500th and a 50th.
They both changed our world. The first is the
nailing of Martin Luther’s 95 theses to the door of the
Wittenberg church in 1517, which ushered in the wonderful
Gospel freedoms of the Reformation. The second is
the passing of the 1967 Abortion Act, which ushered in the
hideous bondage of legally killing unborn children in
England, Scotland and Wales.
The story of the Augustinian monk has been retold
many times, the killing of the defenceless pre-born is a
more veiled story.
I'm currently writing this - please be
patient and come back later in June, or more likely,
late summer.
