Sir, Caitlin Moran argues that the Bible is mostly irrelevant for women (Magazine, Nov 9).  She supports her contention with ‘Statistically, killing is something women so rarely need to be cautioned against.’  Has she forgotten the estimated 43 million abortions each year, worldwide?  Of course she has not.  But for her abortion is ‘a woman’s right to choose’ or ‘a reproductive health issue’.  Forfend it is ever killing an unborn child.
